How to Install the Floor Is Lava PWA
Floor Is Lava can be installed straight from your browser as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — no app store needed, and it opens full-screen like a native app.
What you get
Once installed, Floor Is Lava opens in standalone display mode — no browser address bar or tabs, just the game, launched from an icon on your home screen. It's locked to portrait orientation, and shows a branded splash screen (dark background, gold status bar) while it loads.
How to install it (Chrome on Android)
- Open floorislava.online in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right of Chrome.
- Select "Add to Home Screen."
- Confirm the name and tap Add.
- Launch Floor Is Lava from the new icon on your home screen, just like any other app.

Tips
- Installing the PWA doesn't require any account sign-in — it's just a shortcut to the same web game you'd otherwise open in a browser tab.
- Your progress and purchases are tied to your signed-in account, not to the installed shortcut itself, so signing in works the same whether you use the PWA or a regular browser tab.
